LAUNCH OF CAPTIN JUMBO GLOBAL KIDS FOUNDATION INTERNATIONAL

The much-awaited Launch of the Captin Jumbo Global kids Foundation International (CJ global for short), took place on the 3rd of October 2020 at the premises of the Royal Seed Orphanage at Papasi No. 1 a suburb of Kasoa in the Central Region. This occasion witnessed a number of dignitaries and performers both young and old, within and outside of Ghana.

As has been the Custom at the Orphanage we were received by the Cadet Corps of the Royal Seed Orphanage. The Orphanage also trilled the audience with spectacular cultural performances. Dignitaries at the Launch included Madam Naomi Esi Amoah (Founder of Royal Seed Orphanage), Miss Betty Garcia (Co-Founder/Executive Director, CJ Global, USA), Madam Anyanwu Muhammad (USA), Dr. Wanda Evans-Brewer (an educationist and philanthropist) and daughter Gia Alexandria Long (USA).

Speeches were read by Mohammed Rashid, popular know as Captin Jumbo (Founder and Brand Icon, CJ Global), Miss Betty Garcia (Co-founder/Executive Director, CJ Global), Dr. Wanda and daughter Garcia. As part of their speeches the Founder and Co-founder spoke on plans to construct a Community Training Center which will house a Library, Computer Laboratory, an Art Theatre and Offices amongst others. The Founder and brand Icon also officially introduced Ghanaman as CJ Global’s Head of Patriotism. Whilst Dr. Wanda and daughter Gia spoke of their works across the African continent. Her daughter Gia also spoke of her project of providing a black doll per girl child for the African girl child to raise Her Self Esteem and make Her feel beautiful and proud of her race

A tall order of both young and older performers took their turns on stage to entertain their audience. Notable amongst them were Ashley Chuks, Roqar vibes, Shatta Bery, Nakeeyat(poet), Queen Bars and Stonegal. Other performers include, Rock anokye, Nelisa the stylist, DJ Spices, Africa flying brothers, Sexy Dance Crew, Energy Dance Crew, Diamond Art Academy, Rose Nelson, Nytinie, Krissy, De bless Dance Crew, Great Mega, Myna Official

The Captin Jumbo Global Kids Foundation presented certificates of participation to all performers at the launch. There were also exchanges of certificates between Royal Seed Orphanage and CJ global. Whilst CJ global presented a Certificate of Adoption and Participation to the Orphanage, Royal Seed in turn presented a certificate of appreciation to CJ global for their donation.
